	jemgrl323 picked Brooke breaking up with Lucas S.4: i hated watching brooke so heart broken in season 1...but ultimately it was for the best. i didn't want lucas to be with brooke while wishing he was with peyton (which unfortunately was clearly the case in season 1). so while lucas hurt brooke by breaking up with her, he really did what was best. but the season 4 break up was just sooooo hard to watch because it came so suddenly! they had one bad episode and suddenly they break up. it felt as if brooke was forcing herself to think she didn't want to be with lucas because she was just so scared to get hurt...so watching brooke end things when it seems like she didn't really want to, and watching lucas have his heart broken when all he wanted was to say the perfect words to make brooke stay with him--- it was really sad and difficult to watch. plus it was filmed so well...not really hearing what brooke is saying but hearing lucas's thoughts as he's trying to find what to say to make her know how much he loves her and wants to be with her...the scene was made to tug at your heart strings! posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
