I was not exspecting it but i understand why she did it at the time Jamie was born Haley was closer and Better friends with Brooke so it is very understandable.

I think Hales was closer to Brooke at the time, but now its peyton.

She was a bridesmaid but I think Brooke was the maid of honor, I could be mixed up but I think that's how it was.

yea i think brooke was the maid of honor. but i was soo happy! brooke was there for haley thru everything, they were roomates and brooke gave her the benefit of the doubt when noone else would. plus she covered for her with the whole preggers thing too. and she pretty much planned her wedding made her dress and did that awsome play thing for hales. lol soo i was kinda not soo surprised cuz they were obviously super super close. and umm i dont think they arnt close anymore, they obviously are just cuz they dont have a lot of scenes together doesnt mean shes closer with peyton. im pretty sure the three of them are past the whole "im better friends with you" phase.

why would it have been peyton? the maid of honor is the obvious choice. she & brooke were best friends. they were roommates & i think peyton & haley weren't as close after she came back from tour, even though they got over their issues, they didn't really go back to how they were before. at least not before high school was over.

^^^ Exactly. I've never understood why people make such an issue out of this. No offense to anyone who didn't like it, but come on it was the obvious choice. Brooke & Haley were closer then Haley & Peyton at that point.

And also, i think it was done with the idea that Brooke/Jamie would help lead to the storyline of Brooke wanting a child.

eeem... i didnt really care but was expecting it:) i think haley & peyton were closer in season 1 and 2, but haley & brooke were definatly closer in seasons 3 & 4.. but i dont care for baley or paley, i prefer breyton:D

Paley were closer in season 1 and season 2 and Baley were reall close in season 3 and season 4 and it's understandable why Haley picked Brooke as Jamie's godmother and it's great that she picked her cause Brooke is an amazing godmother but I am more of a Paley fan than a Baley fan so I wanted Peyton to be the godmother instead but I understand why Haley picked Brooke and I am not disappointed about it..cause Paley were amazing in season 5 and season 6!!

I wasn't surprised & I didn't care. Brooke helped Haley a let a the beginning of pregnancy &at the time she wasn't really close to Peyton. The choice was pretty clear. It's not a big deal, none of the girls is religious anyway.
