i love both characters so this was a hard decision. but ultimately nathan has changed soooooo much over the last seasons that i feel more connected with him. lucas is the same ole lucas and its actually getting a little tiring. but after shooting at dan scott, my interest in him has spiked. still i love watching Nathan and Haley. they're what kept me watching OTH over the seasons.

I think that no in season 5 luke is more flawed than Nathan and that's more interesting to watch. Sometimes Nate's storylines are just so boring or we've seen them a thousand times like when he screws up and haley's pissed off for an episode then their okay again you know?--Boring but luke has a great storyline where he is actually screwing up unlike before and thats awesome (plus he's got the looks)

I think Nate can be a bit of a arse sometimes and lucas is like the perfect lad. He has respect for his mother so he has respect for all women, he is always there fo his friends whe they him most, and hes willing to drop the game he loves most for the woman he loves most! How much more do you want in a lad?

I alwys loved nathan! I think he is an amazing guy, and I like the way he treats haley and jamie, But it's hard because I used to love lucas as well (maybe a little less..) I know that lucas is really a good guy, but I hate the way he treats the girls in his life- (beside season 6) he almost never faced what he really wanted (which was alwys peyton. yes i'm a leytoner :)..) and endup hurting the girls. I was really mad at lucas at the end of season 1 when he screw up with brooke and peyton, and after he saw that peyton wants to be with him but told him she can't do it because of brooke he went to the bar and slept with nikki. i know he is a guy and all, but it was the stupidest thing that ruin his relationship with peyton.
and i really hated in season 5, espically after "I forgot to remember to forget" when we learned that leyton broke up only because he proposed and she wasn't ready.. he couldn't wait for her? he knew she loved him, it was so dumb of him to leave her because of it.
but now in season 6 i'm starting to like luke again because i finally feeling like he is going back to the person i used to love, and of coure- Leyton :)

i love how he transformed into a great person because of his great love for haley & his son. i think it's amazing. lucas has kind of been the same character throughout the whole thing, bouncing from relationship to relationship.

Nathan, because he has flaws but who doesn't, he admits when he's wrong and always tries to do the best for his wife and his son. He knows right from wrong and his speech in 418 about point shaving shows that. Lucas sometimes seems like he has all the answers and no one does. Nathan makes mistakes and learns from them. His is the best husband ever and is such a sweet romantic, Lucas always tries to follow his heart but his heart changes to much, Nathan has pretty much always known what he wants, and he is also hotter, i know not based on looks, but it's just an added bonus.♥

Tough call, they're both kind of similar in my ratings, I don't adore either but I do like them both. I would probs have to go with Nathan, he's a more realistic character. He has had flaws but faced his problems and grown up. His character developed while Lucas seems to have stayed the same throughout the whole 6 seasons, not knowing exactly who or what he wants etc. Nathan admits when he's the bad guy, where as Lucas walks around like he's on a moral highground. However that being said, I do still like Luke. I love his inspirational quotes and think admire how good a friend he is. He was my favourite in season 1-3, I loved him especially when he was with Brooke.

I think Lucas is like my (unrealistic) dream guy. So, sorry! Nathan never had a chance :)

Can't pick really I love Nathan's cute personality,the fire that he has,& his spirit but I also love Lucas's Personality I love his passion,mystery & his sincerity. So I really just voted to write a review it's a tie with me.

In the beginning EASILY Lucas, then later both of them, even might have preferred Nathan by a tiny bit, but at the current time I'm SICK of Nathan and his constant never forgiving Harley OR Lucas, I'm sick of him first being upset over Haley not coming back and when she is back and does everything she can he wants her to leave?? And telling Lucas that they're not brothers or even friends because of a few lies? You know what is important, forgiveness, and if someone tells you the truth you should have the decency to accept it sooner or later and stop being so childish, people keep secrets to protect and avoid upsetting the people they care about, but you can't keep holding it against them, because no one can change the past. Of course some things can't be forgiven, even I couldn't forgive Haley for a long time, Peyton was right, but after a while of her truly proving that she is ready to be redeemed, is what it's all about, and you can't just expect life to be easy and if your relationship with someone is hard you can't just constantly give up and turn them away like Nathan is doing, and Lucas really didn't do anything that he couldn't be forgiven for, he was there when Nathan almost killed himself and he was there for him after that, you can't be such and ungrateful ass to turn people away who is there for you! Nathan needs to get over himself, or I doubt I will be able to stand him again.
