I guess so, but I don't think it is unfair. Cause they are so called famouse cause they have contributed alot to the spot and I guess they spend alot of time there too:D

YES! I agree with Cat and Janni. The people who win are "famous" because they're active on here AND their shipping spots, they contribute, and get on well with everyone. But yeah, I do agree that once you've won one time, you shouldn't be on the list... cause you know, the itnerviews will be the same =P

Yes, I've noticed. But for me, it doesn't matter. The ones who win every month are GREAT fans, and they're kind and they have the best comments, and they contribute a LOT. And because.. people just LOVE them! :D

and i have to disagree jennifer, i'm sorry, but everyoe can't be trying their very best. the reason the 'famous' people always get the awards is because people see all of their contributions and comments and medals and know that they are amazing fans.

if everyone was like that then it would be fine.

i'm sure everyone deserves to win it, but what ISN'T fair is picking some random person just so a top contributor doesn't get it!

i dont understand what you mean about oth related spots? do you mean they have a separate awards on the leyton/brucas/naley spots?

cos if so i dont think they should be included with oth awards! i think if youve won a leyton on here you could still win a leyton one on the leyton spot! cos there seperate awards!

I think that it's just like it is in high school. There are cliques and the same "Popular" girls are same ones who are nominated for Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen, Winter-whatever Queen, and so on so on.
Is it fair? Maybe.
I think that these awards start out with good intentions but someone is always going to get their feelings hurt.
I mean yes, maybe if you contribute more you should get recognized. But isn't that what the medals are for?
Plus, not everyone has the same advantages. Not everyone can stay on their computer all day finding things to add to sites, or chatting with everyone.
Not everyone has the programs to make vids and pics. Does that mean they are less of a fan? No.

These are just a few thoughts. And, I just want to say that even if you aren't winning awards it doesn't mean ppl don't think you are great or see what all you do. It just means that you aren't in that particular clique.

To tell you the truth,I don't think there should be fans of the month. We are all fans,no one is a bigger or better fan. Some are better fanpopers then others,but that's what the medals are for. I agree with ElliesOwner!

laurra yeah they do have the fan of the month thing on other OTH spots.and Lindsey practically said my point.

To be honest I don't really mind, fanpop is not a measure of how big an OTH fan anybody is, its just a good way of talking to other people with the same interests and fooling around on topic related stuff. I dont spend my days browsing the pictures on here, not that I wouldn't like to or think anything bad of people that do, I enjoy the OTH spot because its rife in discussion, people take the time to write articles, make picks and quiz questions that make you think. Maybe who gets fan of the month is based on a social network but what does it matter, its just a reward and what we take from one another is what matters. (Yeah I talk at length, its a Laura thing =p)

Yeah, I've noticed too. Honestly, sometimes it gets to me because it seems a little unfair that people win multiple awards. But it's all good.

yea but i don't care really...i contribute a lot to this site, people know i do, and if you don't then my fanatic medal will tell you that. i have no desire to be fan of the month, in fact i don't see much point in the whole thing...but i will say that the winners each month are very dedicated fans and all deserve to be, doesn't bother me at all if they win on multiple spots or if they win multiple months in a row.
