While he obviously had important storylines and great moments in other seasons, being one of the main characters, season 1 is what defines him. He started the show and introduced us to Tree Hill and it's world and back then other characters yet didn't get enough development or chances to shine and show their layers and dementions whereas season 1 Lucas had a lot of conflicts to face and deal with.

Agree marykland he was real and faced a lot deal ing daddy issue brother dated his best friend trust issue choose which girl he like. Other seasons was ok but 1 and 6 was my fave
