200 chapters after he died, Ace is still a very popular character among fans. That's from what I've seen. I guess this poll is mainly aimed at the fans who are crazy about Ace. I wanna know if anyone would like Oda to pull a Kishimoto and bring Ace back despite his dramatic death.

That would ruin the credibility of the show. I don't want it to happen.
Two entire arcs revolved around Ace resulting in his death as a dramatic high point of the series.
That was too meaningful, bringing him back would be ridiculous.

I'll say this unequivocally:

Ace's death was one of the best moments in One Piece, and reversing it would debase the series and ruin everything Oda's been doing. Naruto has already made the terrible mistake of bringing back a number of characters after the best part of the series had been shown. I can only hope that this will never, ever happen, though Oda has a good track record with not pulling absolutely horrid things like this.

Ace's death was a turning point in the series - it put Luffy in a new position, having no brother to help him out of messes any more, so Luffy had to get a bit more serious and toughen up, so he wouldn't lose his nakama. Hence the Haki training with Rayleigh. You notice it a bit more in the series now... Luffy has gotten more serious... don't get me wrong, he still goofs around a lot, but I noticed that he was almost completely serious throughout the larger part of Film Z... he hardly even joked during most of it. I don't know if it was just because Zephyr/Z was so strong, or if he's matured a tad. Either way, I believe that Ace's death helped him decide to act more serious, particularly when fighting.
I also think that it would be pointless to bring him back now, anyway, considering that the story has advanced the stage of *spoiler* the whole deal currently going on in the series, and particularly in the manga. If they had brought him back, hypothetically speaking, then the current events wouldn't have been able to occur and other events would also have happened slightly differently. So, yeah, I'm glad he didn't come back (for the sake of the story), but also still am somewhat saddened by his death even now.
Oh and also what Whiteflame said, who continues to enlighten us with excellent points. xD

No, cause first bringing back a dead character would make the story kinda lame and second I don't care about Ace that much after all.

His death was really dramatic and caused Luffy's determination to be stronger. If he were to suddenly come back to life I'd flip over a table. Well, I DO want him to come back, but his death was so dramatic and emotional, if he did, all of that epicness and drama would be burnt to ash. :(

Okay in Naruto They brought back characters back thats another way to become strong if ace came back to life Luffy and ace will become the strongest pirates and thanks to him Luffy became a pirate every though shanks made Luffy wanna become one and Luffy is still weak against other people who can use haki so i would have wanted sabo to die instead of ace so my answers yes

Well I would have to Agree with kbjhdcgdayf, about Ace coming back to life it would be a better story line as long as soda don't bring back to many dead characters from the dead, But Ace would be under the name Gol. D. Ace then, it might be an better story line but it would take awhile for everyone to really get it, Ace could still be use as in parts per say the Trio is back and sailing the seas together with and with Luffy crew, with two Mera Mera fruit users too, that be pretty cool, or they can put that Ace did not never die he fake his own death to get Luffy Stronger then he already was, but that will be over 200 chapters or more to tell us how he lived through that, or how he came back from the dead. THAT BE ALLOT OF CHAPTERS AND EPISODES TOO!!!

Bring him back and make another genuis turning point without repeating what Kishimoto did. Give me another legend storyline that anyone cannot argue. I know Oda can think out of the box.
