By the time it was 2pm, I was cold and tired. As I looked up, I saw Raman (finally) at the front of the queue. So, I put my book in my bag and waited for her to come out. I wasn't quite sure what Raman was doing, but she seemed to be doing a lot of talking (as usual) and pointing. At me. Niall, Louis, Zayn, Harry and Liam appeared to be listening intnetly, and nodding. Quite a few times, they all looked over at me. Now, there is something you should know about me. Our One Direction boys have been far far away in America working on their album. We miss them. We want to see their faces again but we know it's very important for them to focus on their music right now.

From everything they've been tweeting it's clear to see they've been working very hard, but as usual, it also sounds like they've been up to lots of random stuff including hanging out with Perez Hilton, Chad Michael Murray and rubber chickens?

Within the last week, X Factor runner-up Rebecca Ferguson has binned toy boy Zayn Malik – while Louis Tomlinson has also dumped his long-term bird Hannah Walker.

Music to their mass of teenage girl fans’ ears no doubt.

Mum-of-two Rebecca confirmed the split on Twitter saying: “I’m happy to say I’ve decided to be single. My children, my family and my career are now my world!”

X Factor couple Rebecca Ferguson and Zayn Malik - from One Direction - have ended their relationship, according to the papers.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Rebecca, who finished runner-up to Matt Cardle in the 2010 series, and Zayn, who finished third as part of the band made the decision to part company for the sake of their careers.

Rebecca has reportedly told friends she is "completely gutted" that their romance is over.

However she added, "I'm happy I've decided to be single - my children, my family and my career are now my world."

Despite coming third on last year's X Factor, One Direction have remained firm favourites with the teenage fanbase whose parents refused to allow them to vote for the umpteenth time during the boys' time on the hit show.

The following Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan garnered during their time on the show was insane and encouraged their mentor, Simon Cowell to sign them up once the show was over.

And now the fivesome have followed Cher Lloyd across the Atlantic to Los Angeles, to start work on their debut album.

Louis took to Twitter to tell his fans of their trip, writing: “So excited to be in L.A will tweet pictures when I can :) xx”

The group looked excited and in disbelief as they arrived in Los Angeles. Not bad for five teenagers!

The boys haven't got long in LA as they will be back in the UK to perform in the X Factor live tour which kicks off on February 19.
