One Direction have done it again; their December 3 show at Madison Square Garden sold out in under 10 minutes. With their entire May/June 2012 tour also selling out in minutes, One Direction are giving their fans a chance to see the group live once again in the summer of 2013 as part of their World Tour – the earliest they are able to return with a tour to the States. The Live Nation promoted 25-city tour kicks-off in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 13, 2013, includes a June 23 date in Washington, D.C., and will also hit New York, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. for the June 23 show at Verizon Center.
“Our fans are simply the best in the world,” says Niall Horan. “The support they have shown us has been incredible and we’re all so grateful to each and every one of them. We can’t wait to see everyone this summer, at Madison Square Garden and of course when we play our world tour in 2013.”
Ticketing Information: Tickets for One Direction on June 23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at Verizon Center will go on sale April 21 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $89.50, $79.50, $49.50 and $29.50 (plus applicable service charges) and will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets including the Verizon Center box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com or via Phonecharge at 1-800-745-3000. There will be a four ticket limit. A ticket lottery will take place at 8:00 a.m. at Verizon Center’s box office only. Fans must be in line by 8:00 a.m. to participate in the ticket lottery.
