Was Niall Horan Always A Blonde?

I was always wondering if Niall Horan was a true blonde or he had his hair dyed....so can anyone tell me if Niall Horan is a true blonde or a dyed one?

He's a dyed blonde, because in a close up of him you can see he still has dark highlights from where the dye process wasn't completed correctly. I do hate to say that though, because I absolutely adore One Direction.
