Hi guys, so I've been noticing my spot is a little dead so why not make a fun little article on who makes my list on my favorite characters that I absolutely adore! <3
Dean Winchester
From TV Show Supernatural
I adore Dean because his character is not just a stand out type but, he is not afraid to join the fight. I find Dean's distinct personality set in stone as his own, he is creative in funny remarks that make him known as "sarcastic in his own creation". His uneasiness of his nearer than life weakness (aka Sam) makes him superior in showing his love and safety for his family is strong. This makes him looked up to for he creates an atmosphere of no fear, just the sake of his only remaining family member. It doesn't matter to him if your intentions are high-ended, he finds that things in life just aren't meant to be for a hunter lifestyle however, he does take upon such for a short period of time, just to be toyed with and betrayed by the results. So to speak, Dean is very unlucky in the fandom's eyes. But lucky for him, he has his brother to back him up on certain aspects. I find that all the qualities Dean is made of, including his insecurity and distaste in known what a hunter needs, he is a very unique individual with high intentions for the future. Hey, if closing the gates of hell is a good idea to him, then it must be the best for the world, right? I just love the fact he just simply doesn't care, all he sees in his eyes is the safety of his job and his family which I find great in a man. But in truth, I could gamble off a lot of stuff for this badass stud, believe me I could but, I already know that Dean is highly acceptable in our great family and known as the big brother every individual would love to marry or in some ways, slap. Who doesn't like the bad boy though to be truthful?
Blue
From Anime Wolf's Rain
I find Blue a similar version of myself. Because of this, I find that she is a very smart, shy instinct that doesn't like to be messed with. Her beast side makes her a threat to look out for despite the awkward quietness or skewered conception of her abilities. Her only family being Quent, her "owner" who aids in the hunt of wolves who is quite oblivious of the truth. But her way of showing affection is what I truly find her a great character. For her, choosing sides was choosing her fate for she would learn to know what and who she really was. In a certain perspective, she is actually similar to Katie in NLC (will be revealed later in the series). And because she relates so well to my adult persona I've masked, she is very well a character I have learned to love.
Boaz Priestly
From Movie Ten Inch Hero
Truth being that I don't actually just love Priestly for his punk side or his wildly drawn out hair, but his character's persona actually makes him kind of "outside of the box" from what you'd expect him to be - this is where the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" actually becomes a great example. If any of you have seen Ten Inch Hero at least once, like me, you get a take on its characters quite quickly. Priestly being the most notable and the one who seems out of place of the sub shop crew is actually the most lovable character of the whole movie believe it or not. For you get a take on him quickly as perhaps a snark wannabe of the shop, being the center of attention and all. But don't judge him just yet, if you continue down the path the movie takes you, you learn a thing or two about Priestly not many would note: like the fact he is actually a sweetheart underneath all those tats and piercings who just wants to fit in, just in his own peculiar kind of way. And although a bit unsure of his thinking capacity, he still manages to state his position and plans on keeping it. However, the true star of his personality is actual stated in his peculiar way: how he feels, his mood at the time perhaps is positively stated by his hair dye, how its positioned and his hilarious remark t-shirts he's known for. But you know, it is Jensen Ackles under all that insane transformation make-up but that isn't just the reason why I absolutely adore Boaz Priestly - it is all in the hair and in the hidden personality he so badly wants to hide.
Sam Winchester
From TV Show Supernatural
Although, I admit I'm not a Sam Girl, I do still love what little brother, Sammy has to offer. On my stand point, Sam is quite an interesting character to dissect. He's been through a lot and I mean a lot of trouble in the past and possibly the upcoming future including getting addicted to demon blood and well... screwing up his relationship with Dean too many times to count. But because of his struggles, he has become a well-prepared hunter who just wants a normal life someday. Although, still could be far away, he still has a matter to get into the game alongside his brother for the best and worst times in their universe. His education from Stanford gives him a smart bonus that has been seen numerous times throughout the series to actually be a good thing and even Dean admits it. But that isn't what makes Sam - Sam, his willpower is just as strong as his brothers for he knows the sense when he gets it. However, his aspect to the show makes his superior purpose to exchange his knowledge to the world which states that he for one isn't a force to reckon with. But with the weakening, it may have screwed them over however, he always bounces right back just at the right moment.
Bloodspill
From Comic Series The Blackblood Alliance
I find Bloodspill one of the coolest girls ever who just like Priestly, is quite shy of what she looks for. And yes, she is a girl! What I like about her is that she doesn't just look like a guy but she acts like one. I'm a tom boy type myself that prefers the cool side of life. She is tough and witty with a complexion that no one makes accusing a source. She doesn't care what people think of her or what she looks like, her leadership makes her a strong alibi which not just one person could ignore. Her skills and superior place makes her a great ally that well... likes to eat but still does her job right. Sounds like Katie again a little.
Toothless
From How To Train Your Dragon Movie
I find Toothless not just as a pet of Hiccup or a rare dragon but a friend that I find is rather complete. Toothless, the Night Fury is an amazing breed of dragon with unbelievable stamina and aim that any dragon master would want for himself. But for Hiccup, it was a best friend for life! I find the Night Fury rather cute and adorable with his own pinch of personality that have children alike raving for more. I like the face he is rather brave and tender for being a big mean dragon by the Vikings eyes. For his strength is deceiving and rather control-less which makes this flying machine of speed a true ally to know. But you have to admit, he is also very adorable!
Armin Arlert
From Anime/Manga Attack on Titan
There is something about Armin I like and even after watching the series, I still can't recall why. Even though Armin isn't as strong physically as Eren or Mikasa, he still manages to do his thing - being the thinker. Even if not obvious at first, this shorty has spunk and his strength is there as the reassuring soul which makes him a bit distinct. I see Armin as the Sam of the Attack on Titan universe and it makes him a standout in my books. What I really like about Armin is the fact he seems the most unlikely of the three of them to want to fight bloody - yet the fans love him. To Eren and Mikasa, he is a valuable companion who has the wits to plan out any mission or task, placing their trust onto this little guy. His uneasy personality at first is a bit confided as he stays to himself most of the time but these as we all know, make the best minds. His greatest weapon is there and he proves himself by the end of the series as a helpful yet trustworthy individual who everyone seems to get along with the most. He makes sure to do what he can in any position he is in - he is also one of the best speakers of the scouts. The little cutie with heart of a champ is what I'll call him.
Death the Kid
From Anime/Manga Soul Eater
Of course I am going to add Death the Kid because he is just awesome. Being the son of Death, Kid is one - peculiar grim reaper. Although he looks tough - which he is - he does have his flaws and his flaw is unbelievable. There is always that one person who is neat freak right? Well... Kid is one of those people. His personality is not convinced with his look. For starters, he has one heck of a freak out when something isn't in its right place or if something, and I quote, is "not symmetrical" with its fellow paired item. Something you never expected from Grim Reaper's son! But despite this, Kid with his head held high is a force to be reckoned with. I do enjoy his flaw, being pretty much his most known weakness, but it will piss him off to a certain point. I love how he is snarky yet "playing nice" at the same time. He is an image of a person who you can trust with your life but lose his interest right after. He will uneasily reassure you despite feeling like why should I. He is definitely one of my categorized "outside of the box" picks for acting strange rather than looking strange.
Honorable Mentions
Ok so not everyone can get on my list - obviously. And there are so many other characters I love that I just had to at least mention. So for that, here are my honorable mentions:
Tom Hanniger
From Movie My Bloody Valentine
He is noted to be "mentally unstable" but this guy has got a very odd liking to him. On his meds, he is a super sweet guy but off or about to break, he is utterly terrifying. But really, it isn't his fault. But it makes you wonder the whole time of who is in control - Tom or Harry. Simply put: I like the bad boys
Baymax
From Movie Big Hero 6
I have to put Baymax because he is just too cute to forget. Built by his deceased brother, Hiro's "personal nurse" is a giant balloon bot with a big heart. He will fight for his friends no matter the cost, even if it means sacrificing himself. It doesn't matter to him if you did something terrible or not, he just won't back away without mending your wounds or giving a fist bump - well sort of
Charlie Bradbury
From TV Show Supernatural
Charlie shares the same personality I do which is why I love her so much. And we are also both complete geeks - no regrets! But beyond her geekiness, her gleeful smile and cheeky love for everyone is what really matters. Her love is limitless
Claire Dearing
From Movie Jurassic World
Claire is one of those people you want as a bestie. Despite being a bit stuck up, her personality lights up the room. But her smarts is what really stands out. This girl can kick ass, especially in heels.
Sadness
From Movie Inside Out
Despite being blue - literally. I love Sadness not just because of the emotion she stands for but the way she acts. Even though it was hard to compete with Joy, she had managed to find a proper place on the train, being surprisingly stronger than you'd think.
I can't really think of anymore so I think this counts as an end. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this article! Hope to find you all back again and ready for some action.
