Part 17
Nicole the lynx: An AI with a soul. A heart of gold, and a flaming spirit
Iron Nicole: An AI bound to the ideals of search and capture. Serving the Iron Queen.
Virus the lynx: An AI with a soul. Bound to the ideals of search and destroy. A destructive evil, that takes pleasure in wrong.
The dark lynx. Virus. She had landed on the ground. There was little damage to her.
The light lynx. Nicole. She had crashed into the side of the last standing wall of the factory remains. The ceiling had collapsed on her, and she was now not only severly damaged, but also unconscious.
Virus got up and rushed over to Nicole. She quickly removed the rubble, then woke her up. “Why… are you..?” Nicole said weakly.
“So I can see your face when I remove the last part of NICOLE THE LYNX.” Virus replied.
“Who… a- are y-you any…way?” Nicole asked again.
“I’m you.” Virus replied as she began absorbing the light force inhibitor ring. “The file known as Iron Nicole, became lost in cyber space. It eventually found it’s way into a Dark Egg legionaree, that was killed. But it’s cybernetics weren’t. That file was found and saved by none other than the ANTI-NICOLE. You see, the anti version of you was originally created as a super robot. Meant to protect Dr. Eggman’s anti. The program in the robot knew it was capable of much more, but before proving itself, was captured by the supression squad. From there it was taken and chagned. It too had become nothing more than a file. If found it’s way through the internet to his globe posts, and left to Mobius. The two eventually met and formed a master file. ME! And so, I will become this worlds ‘Nicole the lynx’ along with Mobius’s. Whether I destroy or rule it.”

Virus backed away from Nicole and began fusing herself to the ring energies. Nicole couldn’t even open her eyes to see what she was about to do. Then she felt her own legs dissapearing. She was reverting back to a file. A file with no electrical current to save itself.
Next to her lay the red chaos emerald. She struggled to move herself close to it, but was much to weak. Nicole the lynx died. Her fore-head which had still to revert fell on to the emerald and then something happened. The soul of Nicole the lynx, saw something it never noticed before. It saw the epic battle between Dark the Fox, and TakTheFox. She saw the fairly epic battle between her and Dr. Finetivus. She saw herself slowly dying, and then she saw Tak fusing her to the rings. But did he fuse her to only the rings? …NO
If someone looked down, and saw the fading corps of Nicole the lynx, the would see no rings, but they would see… a belt. A special, Powerful belt, that contained it’s own element. The time element. Or what Nicole was just about to discover as THE CHRONOS ELEMENT.
A giant wave of energy shot out from where Nicole lay. And a sillhoette of a lynx wearing the time belt was in the middle. Virus turned, and almost screemed in surprise. The red chaos emerald zoomed around the energy field continuesly, until the belt, and it met. The chronos emerald was made.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Virus yelled shooting forward into the energy field. She began punching and kicking at the lynx, but had no effect. And strangely enough, the lynx didn’t seem to notice her. Eventually Virus was pushed out of the cycle, just in time to see Nicole the lynx fuse with the emerald of TIME!
A floating silverish purple lynx with glowing pale greeen eyes, emerged and began taking action. Virus unleashed all the power she had in the inhibitor rings, in hopes of stopping Chronos Nicole, but of couse, this did not work. Nicole simply flew over to Virus and grabbed her. She then threw her to the ground, and aimed a giant Chronos spear at her.
The blast destroyed half the of the area, leaving Virus in a giant crater. The super lynx then flew down and absorbed the rings back to herself. Nicole was now wearing the time belt, the dark and light inhibitor rings, and controlling the chronos emerald.
All of the objects began spinning around the time lynx, charging her up. Nicole raised her fist, then slammed it into the ground. The shock wave transformed both Mobius and Moebius, back to what they once were, before Virus’s invasions.
Standing in front of New Mobotropolis once again, was Nicole the lynx. She now had her own actuall body. It was not powered by rings, and it would not run out. At her feet were three of the four items. The rings and the belt lay there, but where was the chronos emerald?
Passed out in front of her was Virus. Nicole had given her also a body of her own. Virus awoke, with a smile on her face seeing how all three items were right in front of her for the taking.
She immediately tried absorbing them, but couldn’t. “What did you do?” Virus growled at Nicole.
“We have our own forms now.” Nicole stated “We cannot absorb their energy any more.”
“Then that means, there is nothing protecting you from ME!!!” Virus charged at Nicole. Nicole raised her arms to block, and a giant crystal shot upward, blocking Virus’s attack.
“I’ll get you Nicole!” Virus mumbelled. “We will see each other again soon!” Virus then out from nowhere to nowhere, dissapeared.
Midnight, who was now at full health, thanks to the time reversal, came up to Nicole. She said she had something to tell her. Something urgent. But that is for another time. Enfisis on “Time”.
