​In today\'s edition of \'rumour that probably isn\'t true but we really really want to believe\', speculation that One Direction\'s Niall Horan is heading into the 

​house is rife (RIFE WE TELL YOU) after bookmakers slashed their odds.

Yup, whilst we might not be entirely sure what \'odds\' or \'bookmakers\' actually means, Nialler has apparently topped the list of potential famous types heading into the house, after a stream of bets have been put on him in the last few days.

According to bookies BoylesSports, Niall\'s odds are at 10/1 to win (which is presumably pretty likely), as more and more bets have been put on him in the last few days.

Their spokesperson Liam Glynne explained: "After introducing Niall Horan into the betting at 16/1 following several requests over the weekend we have had to cut his price into 10/1.​

"​A rather large bet for a novelty market of €250 at 16/1 was placed in one of our County Westmeath shops also which also caused alarm bells to ring with our traders."

SAY IT AIN\'T SO. If you get our hopes up like this and Nialler doesn\'t end up dancing around with socks on his head in the 

​house, we\'re holding YOU Liam Glynne personally responsible. Don\'t say you haven\'t been warned.

Whilst this rumour is less likely than a vegetarian having beef jerky for tea, we would quite like to believe it. And anyway, Niall does need *something* to do whilst One Direction are on hiatus, right?
