Jimmy Kimmel's dad followed Niall Horan into the bathroom for an autograph 

 on Thursday, Niall Horan revealed that Kimmel’s father, James, actually followed him into the bathroom for an autograph. This prompted Kimmel to share that his niece loves One Direction — Horan, especially — and that the family celebrates with cake on Horan’s birthday. As a matter of fact, that’s also why Kimmel Sr. was in the bathroom — to show his future in-law a photo of said cake.

It appears as if the Kimmels are oversharers, because Harry Styles learned that James’ blood type is O negative, that Kimmel lived in Las Vegas between the ages of 9–19, and that Kimmel’s sister is considering the move to Los Angeles but she’s not quite sure yet. Meanwhile, Liam Payne was forced to wonder where the hell he was when this meeting of the minds took place.

The boys of 1D also politely tried to come up with some nice things to say about Hollywood Boulevard, where they performed a number of hits to throngs of screaming fans. It might have been one of the dirtiest places they’ve ever performed, but Hollywood Boulevard sure does have more drunk superheroes than anywhere else in the world. Check out their segment below.
