You were on the couch watching TV, when Niall suddenly lied down on your lap.

NIALL: (he yawns) "I'm so tired," he said poking your cheek.

YOU: (you smile looking down at him) "Go to bed then," you said pushing his fingers away from your face.

NIALL: "but I don't want to," he whined like a child.
You weren't paying attention- as you watched TV, he takes your fingers & began playing with them.

NIALL: "Guess who's birthday is coming in a week?" he sang.

YOU: "Mineeee," you replied, eyes glued to the TV.

Minutes later you felt him play with your fingers again, you felt him slip a ring on your finger. You looked down.

YOU: "Babe, what's this for?" you asked smiling.

NIALL: "For your birthday!" he said grinning.
It was a ring with a heart in the middle, engraved with diamonds.

YOU: "This is really nice, but-"

NIALL: "Noo...You're not doing this again, just accept it babe. Okay?" he said smiling cheekily.
You leaned down and gave him a kiss, as you pulled up, he grabbed your head and kisses you more, passionately.
