Is it true that Zac Efron is going to be in New Moon?

I heard from a friend that Zac Efron is going to be in New Moon.
As soon as i heard that I thought oh god no. and i looked online but i couldn't find it. Do any of you know if Zac Efron is in New Moon?

YES! 100% yes! i hate the disney stars, they are stupid. Twilight saga is great and stuff like that. they will ruin it!
