[Verse 1:]
I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong
To crash the critic saying, "Is it right or is it wrong?"
If only fame had an I.V., baby could I bear
Being away from you, I found the vein, put it in here

I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love (I'll turn the lights out)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch,...

Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer have blamed bad reviews for the failure of 'The Lone Ranger'.

Disney's costly blockbuster flopped at the US box office last month - grossing just $86 million in North America so far, despite a $225 million budget - and the film's stars believe the underwhelming public response is down to harsh reviews in America.

Depp said: "I think the reviews were written seven to eight months before we released the film."

The actor - who plays Native American spirit warrior Tonto - reunites with 'Pirates of the Caribbean' director Gore Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer for...

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp's most recent attempt at a summer blockbuster may be harming his chances at making a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean.

The fifth Pirates movie, currently titled "Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," has been delayed beyond its original summer 2015 release date. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer blames problems with a script, but Disney may be getting cold feet.

Disney also worked with Bruckheimer and Depp on The Lone Ranger, which went over-budget and cost around $250 million to make. It only made $88 million in domestic theaters and has a worldwide total of $250 million....

Is Jack Sparrow back? No, but Johnny Depp, his long-haired wig and outrageous make-up are.

Depp is revising the role of Tonto in the July 3rd release of “The Lone Ranger.” Popular in the 50s, the show followed Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, as they fought injustice. Original fans may remember the show more targeted towards the Lone Ranger. This time around, it seems like all eyes are on Tonto.

Depp has taken the character of Tonto to new heights. Even though the story focuses on the Lone Ranger, Depp plays the role of Tonto in a way that makes him stand out on screen. Is that...

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is moving towards releasing his long-awaited solo album because he doesn't want to waste his work with Johnny Depp.

The singer has recorded a number of solo songs over the last few years, notably releasing a track called (It) Feels So Good in 2011 and enjoying writing sessions with keen musician Depp, but his work has never resulted in the production of a full solo album.

Tyler has now revealed he is determined to finish the record and release it next year (14), telling Billboard.com, "I'm just doing a solo record 'cause I think it's f**king kinky to go write...

Johnny Depp may only star in a few more movies before he retreats from the spotlight.

The notoriously-private Depp was promoting his flop The Lone Ranger on "BBC Breakfast" ahead of its UK release August 9 when he said he won't be "dropping out any second," but the idea of retiring keeps getting stronger. Depp had also told Rolling Stone earlier this year he was considering retirement.

He says, "At a certain point you start thinking and you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year, for example, and you realize that you've said written words more than you actually had the chance to say your...

Johnny Depp once helped One Direction get into a wild Hollywood party because they were too young to go out clubbing in the U.S.

The Hollywood actor invited the Best Song Ever hitmakers to his home in Los Angeles to meet his daughter Lily-Rose, who is a huge fan of the boy band.

Singer Louis Tomlinson admits the visit was "a bit awkward" at first, but the Brits eventually relaxed and enjoyed a tour of Depp's mansion.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "We didn't perform, we just hung out. We were round there for a good two or three hours - he's a top bloke. The first 20 minutes were a bit awkward but...

Masked Lawman Stumbles at the Gate

“The Lone Ranger” stumbled badly at the box office over long holiday weekend, while “Despicable Me 2” did well.

The big-budget film failed to hold its own against the animated feature “Despicable Me 2.” By the end of the weekend, according to estimates, “Lone Ranger” will take in less $50 million.

To promote tourism, New Mexico has started a program to showcase the state’s role in television shows and movies, including the new “Lone Ranger.”
