so far they have 5 episodes of mou hitotstu no sekai and they r making a movie that will be released in japan on 8/27 or around there :)
Well, the first anime adaptation made by XEBEC tried to follow the manga, but it ended up as a failure. The second anime adaptation made by Shaft, while they say is good, it doesn't follow the manga. The only ones that follow the manga are: the Introduction OVAs, Shiroki Tsubasa OADs (which are chapters that are following up to the Magical World Arc), Mo Hitotsu no Sekai OADs (which happens in the Magical World Arc) and the Anime Final movie. In the recent volumes of the manga, Ken Akamatsu announced that there's going to be a long-running anime series in the works and it's going to be released in 2012. I don't know about that because I've been checking the anime season charts for the winter and beyond of 2012 (some shows are announced to release future next year)' but the 2012 Negima anime didn't appear in those charts. Let's just hope that Ken Akamatsu is right.
