I don't think so their relationship just seemed like a friendship until i paid attention to the comments they would make towards one another. how many times have you heard about a daughter setting up a mistletoe for her father. Or a daughter flirting with a her father.than there is some of the comments he makes sometimes. for example he told her in one episode he would sack her and not on the head but there was something about the way he said it that gives a hint that there is a sexually attraction going on.and if u read about the show it tells you that abby shows she sexually attracted to him and i cant imagine lookin at a man that i thought of as my father that way even if we are not related it just seems irregular.

I see him as a father figure for Abby but not completely as she does make some suggestive coments to him regarding his undies and stuff. But i think all he see's in her is the daughter he never had the chance to see grow up! Although Gibbs has had his flirty moments with her too!!

I think that their relationship is very close, as if he were a father figure, but not a father. In the same way you might have a certain amount of respect and admiration for an older male who has had a certain amount of influence on your life.
