Why is Sakura hated so much?

I don't know jealousy?
I have no opinion about her, I think she does
some stupid things sometimes.
She's one of the last anime girls I'd ever like.

Well...

1. All through part one she treats Naruto like dirt and, in case you haven't noticed, Naruto is a VERY popular character (because he's awesome), so that has caused a lot of hatred. She's not quite as bad for this in part two, but it's a hard thing to forgive. Besides, she's still not as nice as she could be and should be to Naruto; she keeps punching him hard in the face for trivial reasons and she screwed with his feelings when she made that fake confession.

2. She is a threat to NaruHina and, therefore, to Hinata's happiness. Hinata is kind and sweet; in many ways, she is the polar opposite of Sakura. She deserves Naruto's affection a great deal more than Suckura, but who gets it? Miss pink-haired bimbo. If Sakura and Naruto got together, who would Hinata have? Her love for Naruto has never wavered through nearly all of her life.

3. Sakura was pretty much TOTALLY USELESS all through the first series. Of course, she's a pretty kick-ass fighter in Shippuden, but a lot of fans haven't gotten to Shippuden yet, so her uselessness will cause hatred for those people.

4. She seems to think she's ace - especially in part one. Whenever she makes that annoying 'CHA!' noise, or does the tongue and cheek thing, I for one just want to jump into the screen and beat her to death with a wet fish. Okay, she occasionally has moments where she gets all negative and thinks things like 'I'm always watching from the background', or 'I'm the one who caused you this pain', but when she has these musings, she either does nothing about it at all, or does something really stupid (e.g. the fake confession).

5. She gets way too much attention. She cries more than pretty much anyone else in the series, yet I'd say she has the LEAST to cry about, when you look at what most of the characters go through. Everyone comforts her and feels sorry for her; everyone talks about what a 'clever kunoichi' she is, which is absolute rot - she's knowledgeable, but certainly not intelligent. Even moody Sasuke who usually treats everyone like mould on his shoe said 'thank you' to her. For what!? Crying 'SASUKE' whenever she got into a sticky situation in battle (which was often)? All the characters seem to like her and it baffles me.

So yeah, I think those are some of the reasons so many people hate her...

I don't hate Sakura, but I don't like that she was useless for practically the entire first part (in Shippuden, it was more remedied as she can heal people and really helped during the war and stuff), and that she hits Naruto constantly for the dumbest reasons. She's far too abusive to Naruto >>

its jealousy i guess and her character might not be that good in anime but she is the most awesome character i have ever seen in girls so far.......... people hates her because she cannot forget sasuke and does not responds to naruto so called 'love' what they dont get it is her love for sasuke is so pure and unconditional . they also hate her because she is a medic and according to them do no 'useful' work in work they dont understand that she is best in her profession and tries to do anything which is within her power, and if someone is not there to heal the injurious ninjas then how will the war can be won? thats what i think

From what I remember, most people don't like her because she was a third wheel in the early episodes. Naruto and Sasuke did everything while Sakura was standing in the back, "protecting people." I like Sakura, but her hatedom was created during the early episodes because people thought she was there only for her to be in an ugly love triangle with the other 2 members of her squad, and you do know how ugly shipping in Naruto is.

I think the reason everyone hates her is because, 1 she ends up beating up all the little kids in the village who call her ugly and 2, because people keep bullying her about her forehead being too wide.

Well...I've heard and read many reasons, but the most common reasons are;
- She hits Naruto
- Naruto loves her instead of Hinata
- Her fangirl crush on Sasuke in Part 1
- She's "weak" or "useless" (Some people changed their minds about this part thanks to Shippuden)

It makes me sad to see so much hate against her... :(

She flat chested

She ended her friendship with Ino over a boy who clearly is not interested, she fake confessed her feeling to Naruto and hurt Hinata, she's weak and useless in the story always on the sideline cheering for the Uchiha and hitting Naruto. She abandon her team on Iwa. She's obsessed with Sasuke even when she know he's evil. She said to Naruto stop being useless and an idiot when she is more useless then that. There's more but I fear it won't fit. She's a bad female lead, Kishimoto said so.

Because of this
