Naruto Question

When does Pervy Sage come into play?

Ello, brand new fan to Naruto here!

So, I'm near the end of the second part of the Chunin exams (They're almost out of the forest of death) and a friend of mine told me about some character she called Pervy Sage.

Being the protective older sister that I am, I was wondering when these episode start, so I can watch them ahead of time, before my little brother does.

So, when does Pervy Sage first show up, and what episodes should I look out for?

If you're watching the English Dubbed versions that were aired on Cartoon Network or some other American television show, you can be sure that they've already been censored to the highest degree. Most language, blood or any questionable content would have been edited out by 4kids.

Stick to the English (if you can stand their voices) and you'll be fine. They are pre-edited from the original for kid-safe viewing. Pervy Sage isn't really that bad, anyways. It's a simple nickname given to him by Naruto because he likes to peep on women. It's more of an on-running joke than anything else.

I'm pretty sure it was in the Chuunin Exam arc. In the month's training before the tournament.

Jiraiya was "researching" hot springs (a.k.a peeping at the ladies). After that, he becomes Naruto's trainer, and thus becomes a major character. So you'll be seeing a lot of him.

The guy is a total pervert, and Naruto calls him ero-sen'nin (pervy sage?)... But I can't recall anything too too risqué. It's primarily a kids' show, after all.

...Gaaah, thinking about Jiraiya is too much for meee... ;_;
