Narcissa Malfoy Who here wants to change the icon for the real Narcissa and put this fake image of her behind?

Personally I'd prefer to use one of the shopped images of movie Narcissa (one of the ones that is Helen Mcrory, but has been altered with things like the hair to be more accurate to the book description). I've seen a few that I thought were wll done. I'm a fan of the book character primarily, so would prefer the spot icon to be more accurate to the character I'm a fan of than how the movie character's styled. That way people of both opinions are meeting half way, it is book accurate, but is still the official movie character in the icon.
That's just what I'd prefer though, I'm fine with whatever the majority of the spot prefers, and there are some good shots of movie Narcissa that would make good icons.

yeah, I am really glad that you do agree, but let me just ask you one thing. Is a little brown in her hair really a that big a deal? I mean if you really want to critizise something there are bounch of things that don't match the book, even scenes. I mean, she's an elegant woman, and needs an sofisticated mature hairstyle, I think it really suits her. And also, is it her hair you love? what else is there you weren't satisfied with?

Personally I think her entire appearance (mainly the styling) is very far off. It's not purely superficial, I also think the way they changed the look in a way relates to making the character in general feel off, things like the imo matronly style of dress and the hairstyle which looks tacky on her to me just don't seem like Narcissa. Her look's not what I'm a fan of, but it being wrong (and seemingly changed for the sake of it) does cause a disconnect between the character I'm a fan of and images of movie Narcissa. I'm a fan of the book character primarily, and unaltered images just don't feel like I'm looking at that character. Still, I'd rather the character was well acted but looked off than poorly acted but looked right, since it is Narcissa's personality I'm a fan of, so I am happy with Helen McCrory's portrayal, and the idea of using icons of her Narcissa.

I know visual elements like the hair is a little thing, but that also means it a little thing to change to meet in the middle (since people being dissatisfied with the movie character looking wrong is the main reason the spot icon has yet to be changed as far as I can tell). That way both sides get their way, with a picture that is both book and movie accurate. I'm completely happy to have an unaltered icon used though, and I think an image of Helen McCrory's Narcissa will be much better than what we currently use here.

I want an unalterated picture of Narcissa. I think she looks very elegant and classy in the films. I don't mind the hair at all.
