I doubt Derpy is a mother...

There's-a no doubt after all I've seen about both of-a them, Dinky is-a Derpy's daughter. :)

I'm sorry, but I seriously doubt it that Derpy has gotten knocked up.

Adopted daughter. I doubt that Derpy is old enough to give birth by herself. Plus, Dinky is an unicorn and Derpy is a pegasus.

How Derpy became a mother:
Year 2008. Derpy was walking across the street. She was 10 years old. Then she saw some mare leaving a baby unicorn filly. That uncaring mother, the biological mother of Dinky, said that she is tired of filly's cries and is not going to take that anymore.
The filly was 11 months and 4 days then.
Since Derpy has a kind heart, she felt incredibly bad for the filly and decided to pick her up. She said: "Don't worry, little filly, you'll be safe under my hooves" and picked her up.
Then, she and her best friend Dr. Whooves called the filly Dinky and started to raise her. Now Derpy is 15, Dr. Whooves is 17 and Dinky is 6.

They make such a good friend couple.

Actually, i see BG ponies as pratically being just there for "overworld", and their backstories changes every episode, a pony family can all be related one episode, and not be related at all the next. Basically they're "blanks" for you to personalize a backstory and other stuff on. The ponies at the sisterhooves social were not sisters- just templates that acted as "sisters" in that episode.

She was never actually seen on screen as "Derpy's daughter". She's usually seen with Golden Harvest and Written Script. Could be her parents. Could be her siblings(in-law?). Could even be just an young couple that was friends with her and adopted her when her biological parents died because GH was infertile.

If i have to make a story i usually have:

Ponet + Sea Swirl = Amethyst Star

Ponet + Derpy Hooves = Dinky Hooves

+ Papermoon is the Metacrisis with say, an older Cloud Kicker, acting as "Donna Noble". (Or the "DoctorCloud", if you prefer.)

And there's also a Genetic "Jenny" Anomaly running around as Whooves' loomed daughter.

OF COURSE!!! AND DOCTOR IS THE DAD ;D
