	KotokoAihara picked Twilight: I honestly think Twilight and Spike could have that kind of relationship. I've never really seen Twilight as his mother more like an older sister or love interest. The series has only stated that Spike is her best friend and sometimes in life and a lot of times in television the best friend becomes the one. That's just my opinion though. I also think he could have a relationship with Fluttershy or Applejack. Fluttershy because she kind of had a small crush on him and Applejack because they have had a lot of funny moments together especially in A Dog and Pony Show. posted over a year ago.

I love the idea of him going from crushing on "the glamorous one," to discovering feelings for a "tough girl" who could be more like "one of the guys," but is actually beautiful. I like AJ/Spike because there have already been a number of moments that could be taken to support that ship if one is so inclined. My next pick would be Twilight, because that could be a cute way for their relationship to develop. It's funny--earlier today I was watching "Secret of My Excess" and thinking, "Poor Spike! Slave to one unicorn, love slave to another!" XD Fluttershy...eh, I suppose that too would be cute. I never saw her as having a "crush" on him, though....just enraptured by and enamored of an adorable baby, though not in a romantic way. And Pinkie Pie, I dunno. Definitely not as much romantic chemistry as I'd sense with the others. On the other hoof, he COULD also go well with any of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. posted over a year ago.
