I'm totally ok with it. She got what she had been working hard for for two seasons, and gets what she worked for at the end of season 3.

I'm not really used to alicorn twilight sparkle. She should've have became an alicorn in the series finale. It would've been much more bittersweet knowing it would be the last time seeing twilight.

I admittedly had my doubts about the entire Twilicorn concept at the end of Season 3. I thought it will ruin her character, disrupt the symmetry of the mane 6 and ruin the entire show altogether. But, now that I've seen the Season 4 premiere, I have to say, I'm pretty relieved. The writers indeed took a high risk, making Twi a Princess, but they executed this big transition almost perfectly, without destroying the Twi we love. I've come to peace with her being an alicorn Princess, I have no problem with it now. I consider it as huge character development, which opens up a completely new story arch, so yeah! Go Princess Twilight! :)

I was SOOOOO happy she became a princess, she worked hard passing the tests set for her. And her being a princess has opened the door for new possibilities, I can't wait to see where they take it next!

As long as the show doesn't give her special Mary Sue powers & try to make her stand out above other characters.

Wasn't "everyone is equally special in their own way" the whole message of the first 3 seasons up until that point? It doesn't seem right that TS should shine more brightly.

The worst thing is that they're calling her an Alicorn instead of a Pegacorn. There are 2 definitions for Alicorn: 1) A horned Chimera with the head of a deer, tail of a lion or boar & the feet of an elephant. 2)The unicorn's horn itself.

The ponies look absolutely ridiculous with clothing, like a sweater on a cat. It's just unnecessary, & prissy.
