Some undertake MLP openly, others don't. It depends on a lot of circumstances. For example, I'd like to be open about it, but I can't because I know my family and except one of my friends wouldn't even understand. My Mom once saw my Luna backgroud pic on me phone and said: "Hah, what is this unicorn stuff, you're devolving, or what?"

So yeah. But I've heard of numerous good examples, when all turned out okay. As I said: it depends on a lot of circumstances....

Let me explain. I was listening to a PMV while putting lead in things in Borderlands 2(P!nk is a damn good songwriter. Let's get that straight. So What is the song the PMV was based around.) and after it was over, my mom came into my room(purely coincidental) and asked what I was listening to. Read the parentheses to answer your question as to which one it was. ANYWAY... 4 minutes later, at least 1 "goddamn" uttered during my closet-motherbucking-exploding, she found out. Thank Celestia she didn't roundhouse kick me on the spot! I didn't know what to expect, but she said " okay..." then "I don't give two shits what you like as long as it isn't overly weird" then walked away.

Damn. I expected 26 mare-slaps and a reason to wear a saddle.

I'm too much of a worry wort to reveal it. At least 'openly'..

So, even though the people I choose to hang with, are the types who probably wouldn't give two shits what I watch. They already know I'm a fan fiction writer and stuff like that. They even help with ideas sometimes...

When my my younger brother (only by three years, so not LITTLE little brother) walked in my room to look for something, I had an episode on. But I don't even think he noticed, or if he did, he never said or did anything about it..

I watched the episodes "Baby Cakes" Spike's quest" and the one where Twilight meets her future self which warns her that there was nothing to worry about, and there was no disaster to come. I liked the show instantly. I'm keeping it a secret from my family. I have Rainbow Dash as my desktop image. I realized it's ok to talk about my love of the show here and share it with other fans.
