I honestly don't know. In the original MLP a human girl named Megan was able to go visit the ponies meaning that their lands were both on Earth. However, as I said above the producers have stated that they don't want to include humans in the show so we probably will never know unless they change their mind. I personally think its shame because I am very interested in the possibility of having humans on the show. I think even making a separate show of the ponies humanized would be a great idea.
