I have an idea for a fan-fic (or series of fan-fics), but I'm not sure if people will like it...

So that's why I'm asking you, cause I know if I don't get a second opinion I can't post it. I recently started a new account on Fanfiction.net and I thought, "What the heck, I'm probably gonna become one of those sane pony writers who keeps everyone in character (or tries to)"

The problem is, that I have this idea that came to me in the shower (but than again, all the craziest ideas come to us in the shower) that made me ask this:

"What if we could get ponies to travel through time base on real world event (and not Equestrian ones)?"

At first, it seemed like a home run, but now I'm sort of scared to post it because I'm afraid to people might not like the idea of cave ponies or anything. I'll tell you more about later, but I really need a second opinion

IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?!
