If you were to choose one of the ponies to go to the Grand Galloping Gala, who would it be and why?

Anyways, I would take AppleJack. She had the best reasons. She wanted to earn money to help her farm and Granny.
I wouldn't take the others because:
RainbowDash-She just wanted to meet the wonderbolts, even though they appear to show up everywhere.
PinkiePie-she just wanted to party. SHE CAN PARTY EVERYDAY IF SHE WANTS TO.
FlutterShy-she wants to see animals, as if she hadn't seen animals before.
Rarity-she wants to find love.....you can't just go there and expect love to magically.
Twilight-she can visit Celestia any time she wants.
I think AppleJack had the best reasons. Just my opinion.

Since I have already been to the galla last year with Twilight I might want to go to the galla with her again.

I'de take Luna because we are both rather.... shadowy and mysterious, but have a fun-loving side and love to scare. I also loved Nightmare Moon.

I would bring Applejack because she just wanted to help the Apple family.

I'd bring Apple Jack. I think she's really nice, and she's the only one I would ever get along with. The others are too girly and energetic. Rarity is arrogant, Pinkie Pie is annoying, Twilight Sparkle just irks me, Fluttershy would probably be afraid of me, and Rainbow Dash is a jerk. Apple Jack is probably the only reason I watch the show at all. Rainbow Dash is growing on me bit by bit, but I would definitely take tomboy rancher Apple Jack.

My order:
Fluttershy--she wanted to see rare animals which she would never get to see again, and this was her opportunity.
Rarity--she wanted love, which would've been annoying, but in a real-life scenario, it's important.
Applejack--she wanted to help her family.
Twilight--Twilight barely ever gets to see her mentor.
Pinkie Pie--she just wanted to party.
Rainbow Dash--the wonderbolts show up EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!

If I were in Twilight's position, I would have taken Applejack. I felt like she had a good reason, but either way, she was first. Rainbow so rudely eavesdropped and interrupted. Twilight just as good as invited AJ, so she deserved the ticket. But if it's just based on reasons alone, that's a little harder. Applejack's was the noblest, for it was to help her family. Pinkie Pie and and Rarity actually desired the event itself, though Rarity's focus was more on Blueblood. Rainbow's passion and determination to join the Wonderbolts is important enough that her reason was also very good. Fluttershy might have been a little bit confused on the point of the Gala... But she still had a valid reason.
I still would lean toward AJ, but Rarity and Rainbow would be up there.

I would've chosen Applejack, normally I wouldn't if she was just going to sell things and make money for herself, but she'd use the money to help her family, so I'd take her. I think she has the best reason. :D
