Framia: Dinner in the Park

I DIDN OT WRITE THIS.ONE OF MY FRIENDS ON DEVIANTART DID.
Jamia hopped into the passenger seat of her boyfriend Frank's car within the first ten seconds he appeared in her driveway. She knew it was going to be a special date - it was their first after he gave her that silver promise ring and purchasing an identical one for himself - so she had flat ironed her hair a little for the occasion. When they stopped at a red light, he ran his free hand through her frosted brown hair.
"Your hair looks different," he pointed out with a smile, "I like it."
"Thank you. I knew tonight would be special, so I decided to do my hair a little fancy." Jamia smiled shyly and batted her eyelashes, which had a slight coat of mascara darkening them. Frank smiled too, as the light turned green, but it seemed to have a different meaning behind it.
They finally stopped at a park, which was in a safe neighborhood since kids were still playing there and there were no sightings of shady figures anywhere. Frank opened the car door for her - always the gentleman - and held her hand as he lead her up a mini hill towards the off-center of the park. Her giant brown eyes widened in surprise as she saw a picnic basket, blanket, lit candles, and a radio playing a soothing mix of Sonic Youth ushered under a tree on the lump of land.
"A dinner in the park? Frankie, that's so sweet of you!" she threw her arms around his neck, and he hugged her back, his hands slithering from her waist to her butt. She gently slapped his shoulder and shook her finger at her boyfriend.
"Not in public, Frankie! There's kids here, anyway."
"Well, I'm just a bad, bad boy who needs to be punished."
"Oh, God, Frankie. You are being such a dirty boy today. Let's just have a nice, romantic dinner. You can contain yourself, right?"
"'A nice, romantic dinner'...I think I can do that."
"Good." Frank let her skip on ahead of him, patting his right jean pocket - yeah, the condom he hopefully would get to use later tonight was still there.
He got to the picnic sight, and pulled out a chilled miniature champagne bottle and two wine glasses, pouring one of them and handing it to Jamia. She took it, smiled and had a sip.
"You really don't think people will point out that there are two minors out drinking in the middle of a family friendly park?"
"Shhh, they don't know yet. Next time I'll make sure to bring apple juice, and to prove there's no alcohol in it, it'll be in the little juice boxes. It will feel like first grade lunch time all over again." Jamia threw her hair back and laughed at both the joke and for the sheer drunkenness of it. She wasn't drunk on the champagne - she was drunk on the love she was constantly downing whenever she and Frank were together. She loved him so much.
Frank pulled out dishes, napkins, and silverware, and a take out box of pizza. Jamia jokingly punched him in the shoulder, her mouth open in surprise and laughter.
"And this whole time I thought you had cooked me something special!" She pretended to pout, and even shed a tear for dramatic effect.
"Hey, putting in your order and waiting for what feels like a year for a simple order of a small veggie with extra cheese and driving back here to get everything set up is a lot of work - Pizza Hut works very slowly," he cut up a slice and held it to her, "Shall I feed you, my Mademoiselle?"
"Even though that's French you just complimented me with, why the hell not?" She opened her mouth an a slightly cold combination of bread, vegetables, and lots of cheese gushed into her mouth. Whilst chewing, she cut up a slice and held it out to Frank.
"Your turn; open up!" He obeyed, letting his girlfriend stuff pizza in his mouth as she rang out that sweet, goofy laugh in his ears. He smiled, and noticed she was still wearing that ring her gave her, just like she was at school yesterday, and the week before, when he gave it to her. It made him indescribably happy to see her wear it as if it were second nature. It also made him more sure that he would get to use the latex dick cover-up soon. Maybe tonight, maybe not tonight, but soon.
After feeding each other pizza and chocolate covered cherries Frank had bought from the candy shop around the corner, they finished off the small champagne bottle and were slightly tipsy. They had been close to each other and kissing between feedings the whole time, and Frank felt like it was the perfect time to get her in the mood. He got a little more closer to her, nuzzling his face into her shoulder, which was barely covered by his old jacket. She forgot a sweater on their second date, and he let her borrow it for the night. She never returned it.
"You never did give me back my jacket..." he whispered into her skin and the leather of the jacket.
"Do you want it back?" she asked, getting up slightly and preparing to slip it off of her.
"Um, not now, but okay," he let her proceed in taking off his jacket and handing it back to him, "We can always go to my dad's house, drop it off there." Jamia didn't respond. Instead she just kissed him, smiling like an idiot and unashamed of it.
"Am I the only one who's noticed that we have only kissed for the past year and a half?" he pointed out, brushing back some of her icy brown hair and holding her face in his warm hand.
"Did you have any other suggestions on how to say 'I Love You' in other ways?"
"I could think of some..." His hand trailed from her face to the base of her snow white neck, his finger lightly tracing the design her collar bone and continuing down her arm. His lips softly kissed her neck, then kissed under her chin, then her perfectly shaped lips, the corner of her mouth, and at her blushing cheek. Jamia was stunned in thought. She loved Frank - but was she really willing to go that far? Wasn't sex supposed to occur on her wedding night, just like her parents and teachers at Catholic school had told her? Frank did say that he wanted to marry her, and she did love him. He promised that he would. Perhaps if she did sleep with him, it would be a sneak peak of their wedding night, in a sense. She looked at him with serious eyes.
"I-I have a condom, y'know, just in case you wanted to-"
"Do you wanna drop off your jacket at your dad's place? Maybe then we can, maybe come up with different ways to say 'I Love You'?" Frank's jaw dropped in surprise and glee. It was going to happen. Sweet Jesus, it was going to happen. Dreams do come true.
"I'll just call my mom and say I'm going over to a friend's house for a sleep over. I can just borrow some of her pj's and underwear - she'll understand." Frank kissed her on the cheek, doing a victory dance all the way to the car, counting the seconds until he would be a virgin no longer.

Well, when you go
Don't ever think I'll make you try to stay
And maybe when you get back
I'll be off to find another way
And after all this time that you still owe
You're still the good-for-nothing I don't know
So take your gloves and get out
Better get out
While you can
When you go
Would you even turn to say
"I don't love you
Like I did
Yesterday"
Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading
So sick and tired of all the needless beating
But baby when they knock you
Down and out
It's where you oughta stay
And after all the blood that you still owe
Another dollar's just another blow
So fix your eyes and get up
Better get up
While you can
Whoa, whooa
When you go
Would you even turn to say
"I don't love you
Like I did
Yesterday"
Well come on, come on
When you go
Would you have the guts to say
"I don't love you
Like I loved you

I don't love you
Like I loved you

I don't love you
Like I loved you

The the world is ugly,
But you're beautiful to me.
Are you thinking of me?
Like I'm thinking of you.
I would say I'm sorry
but I really need to go.
I just wanted you to know
That the world is ugly,
But you're beautiful to me.
Are you thinking of me?
Are you thinking of him?
You could say you're sorry
but I think you both should go
I just wanted you to know,
There's an aching in my heart
And there's a burden in my eyes.
I could get a new start
But I'd rather learn not try.
I could find a new place
Maybe no one knows my name
But I think it's just the thing.
Oh are you happy now
Now that you got
What you came for
Are you
Are you happy now
Now that you got
What you came for
Are you happy now?
Now that you got what you came for
Are you happy
Now!
Are you happy now?
Now that you got what you came fo

I said, we'll drown ourselves in misery tonight
White lies, you've worn out all your dancing shoes this time
Just give us war-worn lipstick by the door if I inflame
These eyes have had too much to drink again tonight
Black skies, we'll douse ourselves in high explosive light
Just give us war-worn, I've been calling you all week
for my shotgun
Pick up the phone
Pick up the phone, fucker
I wanna see what your insides look like (I wanna see what your insides look like)
I bet you're not fucking pretty on the inside (Not so pretty)
I wanna see what your insides look like (Not so pretty baby)
I wanna see 'em (Not so)
Well you don't say
And well I can explain what happened to my faith
Late last night
I sleep in empty pools and vacant alleyways
And what I'm going through, shot lipgloss through my veins
And when I can't complain
With the falling rain
C'mon
I wanna save your heart
I wanna see what your insides may be
White lies, you've worn out all your dancing shoes this time
Just give us war-worn lipstick by the door if I inflame
These eyes have had too much to drink again tonight
Black skies, we'll douse ourselves in high explosive light
Just give us war-worn, I've been calling you all week

And what I'm going through, shot lipgloss through my veins
And when I can't complain
With the falling rain
C'mon
I wanna save your heart
I wanna see what your insides may be
And we can run, from the backdrop of these gears and scalpels
At every hour goes the tick-tock bang of monitors as
They stared us down when we met in the emergency room
And in our beds, I could hear you breathe with help from cold machines
Every hour, on the hour, they drew blood
Well I felt I couldn't take, another day inside this place
From silent dreams we never wake, and in this promise that we'll make
Starless eyes for heaven's sake, but I hear you anyway
Well I thought I heard you
Say I like you, we can get out
We don't have to stay, stay inside this place
Someday, this day, we kept falling down
Someday, this day, set the ferris wheel ablaze
You left my heart an open wound
And I love you for
This day, someday we kept falling down
One day, this day all we had to keep us safe
And if we never sleep again, it would never end
Well I thought I heard you say to me
We'll go so far, far as we can
And I just can't stay, one day we'll run away
At every hour goes the tick-tock bang of monitors as
They stared us down when we met in the emergency room
And in our beds, I could hear you breathe with help from cold machines
Every hour, on the hour, they drew blood
Well I felt I couldn't take, another day inside this place

And if we never sleep again, it would never end
Well I thought I heard you say to me
We'll go so far, far as we can
And I just can't stay, one day we'll run away
We could be perfect one last night
And die like star-crossed lovers when we fight
And we can settle this affair
If you would shed your yellow take my hand
And then we'll solve the mystery of laceration gravity
This riddle of revenge please understand it has to be this way
Stand up fucking tall
Don't let them see your back
And take my fucking hand
And never be afraid again
We've only got one chance to put this at an end
and cross the patron saint of switchblade fights
You said we're not celebrities, we spark and fade, they die by threes
I'll make you understand and you can trade me for an apparition
Stand up fucking tall
Don't let them see your back
And take my fucking hand
And never
Trust, you said
Who put the words in your head
Oh how wrong we were to think
That immortality meant never dying
Stand
Take my fucking hand
Take my fucking...
Stand up fucking tall
Don't let them see your back
And take my fucking hand
And never be afraid again
Just because my hands around your throat!
And die like star-crossed lovers when we fight
And we can settle this affair
