Right so basically I have just booked my tickets to their tour in the UK in feburary at MANCHESTERRRRR!!!!!!!

Bands that are Simliar to MCR

These are my top three bands I think sound like MCR.This is my opinion.Don't like,then suck.really it's hard to compare them to anything because their a pretty unique sounding band. they take influence from the misfits which is a pretty old horror punk band but I'd be completely wrong to compare the two. But if you want to give a listen to a band that inspires them a lot and is slightly an old school version of them, that's always an option.

So, I was on Youtube one day, and I came across a video. The video was a man speaking about an article in The Daily Mail, a Brittish newspaper, reffering to My Chemical Romance as "emo" and "a scuicide cult".
It's about a thirteen year old girl who was popular smart and bubly... until she became emo.
Her Myspace page had a pitcure of a girl with bloody wrists on it. She said "Hi I'm (I'm not giving names) and I'm addicted to MCR and Gerard!!!!!" She said she lives in "the black parade!!!" Things like "Dear diary, today I am giving up" were also written on her page.
