I know this is such an old question but I think Madonna in her prime was better. While Gaga has a better voice than Madonna, I think Madonna's songs (80s, 90s, & some of her 00s) are better than Gaga's. Madonna's songs make sense & her songs are much better for dancing. While Madonna was provocative, she didn't wear cloths out of meat like Gaga did.

80s or 90s or 00s, I still like Madonna more overall, although Lady Gaga's song 'Bad Romance' kills any song by Madonna.
