And she's let go of the handle bars
Let's just hope she's done dashing
In front of cars
And that her real world
Doesn't come crashing
While her head's in the stars
She's had her heart
Torn out of her chest
Shot with more than one dart
Her life hasn't been the worst
But her life is no where near
The best
She tries to push away
Thoughts of the past
From her mind of yesterday
Leading herself to ask
What happens when she strays
From today?
