Tbh I don't really pay attention to music awards because no one I want ever wins. Frankly none of my favorite artists are ever an option. I feel like rock and metal really don't get much attention on awards shows. It's all pop and rap and those are cool genres but I'd like to see more variety.
Tbh, I don't care too much for the Grammys or any award show. For me it's the music that matters not how many awards you get. But I understand the Weekend's frustration. Doing some you're passionate about and not getting recognize for it. I'd be upset, too.
