I just got my first cell phone and would love to have some real ringtones or wallpapers on it and I don't have internet on the phone. Does anyone know where I could get free ringtones and wallpapers at without needing internet on the phone?
What you need to do is send a text message to your email address.
Check your email and you'll have a message from your phone. The address will be something like ##########.txt@att.net (or something similar)
To send yourself a picture or song, reply to this message. Change the "txt" to "mms" and attach whatever picture or song you want to use. (make sure the file you're sending is not too big. Otherwise, it won't send)
Unless you have to pay extra for picture or mms text, this shouldn't cost you anything.
Well, I use this program called Acid Xpress for my ringtones, where you can put songs on this toolbar-type thing, and you can trim out the parts you don't want, so the remaining part is your ringtone.
