nosemuffin picked The Princess Bride:
I think they were right on with Pulp Fiction at #1. That movie has absolutely had the most profound and lasting impact on film out of everything in the last 25 years. But Hannah and Her Sisters and Moulin Rouge(don't kill me Moulin Rouge fans!) being in the top 10? That's just ridiculous! This is Spinal Tap at #11, how could they not!?

Pippi21 picked Forrest Gump:
To me this is defenitely a modern classic. I can't believe it isn't on the list..
Edit: Forrest Gump is 1994 btw, so it could be on the list.

This is such a classic! Why isn't it there?

But I'm glad to see Clueless on the list, I love that movie. And Talented Mr. Ripley, that's great too.

I mean... this is a cult classic! It did really well with the critics, and it's the kind of Monty Python movie that people have memorized from start to finish! How is it not a classic already?!
That just doesn't make any sense.
Pirates of the Caribbean, I suppose I can understand, because it wasn't well received by most critics, but even still. If this isn't a major icon in pop culture then I don't know what is. Same with Harry Potter.

OMG!
I'm so surprised! There are several movies that deserved to be in that list!
I mean they've put Austin Powers,The 40 Year-Old Virgin and several others that I personally would never add and haven't added HP or Forrest Gumb!
I don't like most of the movies that are added!

Probably one of the best movies ever made, its not my absolute favourite but I think the plot and number of historical events included was really smart and well done.

Very well done. Shoulda been on there. I'm also surprised that Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles are on there. I mean I liked Spider Man 2 more than the first but its still not a classic. WHY THE HECK ISNT PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN UP THERE!!!!
