I actually saw Phantom of the Opera in London several years back and the movie couldn't compare to that experience. Hairspray and Sweeney were good, but Chicago blows all the others out of the water. :D

its not my favorite musical but filmwise it is, if im making any sens, dont get me wrong i love chicago catherine z-j is my fav actress but the film of ren just always blows me away!

I really like Chicago, tough I only saw this one and Phantom of the opera! I think only Sweeney Todd can beat Chicago! lol

Out of question! Chicago is really good too, but Sweeney Todd is just mind-blowing!

sweeney tood comes in a close second, and hairspray is based ona movie which then becomes a broadway play then they redo it based on the broadway play? I find that just funny how ass backwards that is.

Across the Universe is my favourite musical, but its not a movie based on a musical.
