Oops, spelled "redemption" wrong. :)

Anyway, this is the absolute greatest escape in movie history, because it took him nineteen years to pull it off. Kill Bill would be a close second, just because I'm extremely claustrophobic and I really want her to get out of that coffin!

Sorry for continually adding classic movie scenes to the list (if you don't like their addition) but I promise I only do it when I instantly think of it as a qualified answers.

On the other hand, any movie titled 'The Great Escape' is a pretty good choice for a escape question.
