Star Wars is one of the greatest movies in history!!! It is just horrific for it not to win that award.

Although, I also think that the LOTR movies and Raiders were pretty awesome!!!

Shelby13 picked 1998 - Shakespeare in Love beats Saving Private Ryan:
A lot of these are surprising, but I definitely think Shakespeare in love was overrated. Its a glorified chick flick! How was it even nominated??
I didnt see The Pianist, but The Two Towers was such a transition movie. Not at all the best of the 3. And there were about 20 endings!! Im not that surprised about Star Wars bcuz it probably wasnt too popular right when it came out and then it created a ginormous fan base.
Forrest Gump, Titanic and Crash were amazing.

I think both Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers should have won. I will admit that I haven't seen a lot of the films so I can't really say which is the most unfair, but I do think that both those movies should have won in their respective years.
