Love both! But this movie is more epic! The Joker is a scary but awesome villain. And the storyline is more complicated and thrilling. Although Rachel's face is uglier in TDK.

By Far! Batman Begins is awful IMO

I like Batman Begins, but certain aspects of it drive me nuts (ie Katie Holmes being just awful and, more so on first viewing, not being very accepting of Christian Bale and his Bat Voice...). The Dark Knight is epic though.

I suspect The Dark Knight Rises will be a mix for me, ie I'm expecting Tom Hardy as Bane, JGL and Marion Cotillard (whoever they turn out to be) to be exceptionally awesome, while Anna Hathaway has managed to suck the awesome out of even the small moments we've seen in trailers. I trust Nolan with A LOT, but his casting of women's roles tends to be terrible.
