New ‘Tully’ Trailer: Charlize Theron Gets a Nanny in Reunion with Director Jason Reitman

writer Diablo Cody, director Jason Reitman, and star Charlize Theron for the first time since that movie, and marks the third collaboration between Reitman and Cody after

, which scored Cody an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

This new film stars Theron as a mother of three, including a newborn, who is gifted a night nanny by her brother, played by Mark Duplass. She forms a unique bond with the new night nanny, played by

star Mackenzie Davis, but soon learns there’s more than meets the eye.

The film had a surprise screening at the Sundance Film Festival in January where it received positive reviews, with some even comparing it to something like 

in that Davis’ titular character changes the lives of this family for the better. This new trailer does a great job of showcasing the film’s brutally honest approach to motherhood, and the cinematography by Eric Steelberg is really striking.
