I saw over 20 films in 2016. Some of them were films that I didn't like. However the year had some good films. This list is about the 2016 films that I like the most.

10. Moana

Moana is a Disney animated film. The film has a very fun character named Maui who's greatly voiced by Dwayne Johnson. Also this film has good animation and catchy songs.

9. The Secret Life of Pets

The Secret Life of Pets is a animated film. This film has a very cute female dog named Gidget who is voiced by the talented Jenny Slate. This film has some cute and fun scenes.

8. Norm of the North

Unlike most critics I really like...

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 action film. The film stars Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck).

The Plot

Batman thinks that Superman is too dangerous so he decides to get rid of Superman. However Superman is busy trying to stop Lex Luthor who has villainous plans. It's up to Superman and Batman to get along and stop trying to destroy each other so they can get rid of the real villain of the film.

The plot of this film is interesting. This might sound weird, but I think that the film works as both a drama and as a accidental comedy. The film has some emotional scenes...

Masterminds is a 2016 comedy film. The film stars Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, and Owen Wilson. The film got mostly bad reviews which is normal for comedy films. The film is a adaption of real life events. I'm not joking.

The Plot:

David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis) is a Loomis Fargo worker. Despite being engaged he has a crush on of his co-workers (Kristen Wiig). His crush has a greedy friend (Owen Wilson) who wants to rob Loomis Fargo. David robs Loomis Fargo and tries to get his crush to date him and avoid getting arrested.

The plot of this film is actually good. The plot is unique enough...

I watched The Lego Batman Movie. It's a 2017 animated film that's a spin off of The Lego Movie. Is this Batman film hilarious and heartwarming or is it a bad comedy film? Please read the review to find out.

Plot:

Batman (Bruce) is still sad about his parents being gone and because of that is a loner. Robin wants to be Batman's son. Also the Joker is putting Gotham City in danger. It's up to Batman to accept Robin as his son and stop the Joker.

The film has both silly and drama scenes. The drama of Batman dealing with his parents being gone and moving on to a new family is well done, but the...

Neighbors and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising are comedy films that star Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron. The first film was released in 2014 and the second film came out in 2016.

Neighbors review

This film is about Mac and Kelly Radner, 2 parents who deal with a fraternity that lives next to them. The fraternity's leader is Teddy Sanders, a fun loving troublemaker. Mac and Kelly become rivals with Teddy and his friends which causes lots of silly antics.

This film is good. The film is enjoyably silly. Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron give good performances. The film is almost always...

Pokemon is a popular anime show. The show has various films. This review is about the original Pokemon film. The film is a classic to Pokemon fans, but was hated by critics.

The Plot:

Special mention goes to the 10 minutes that got edited out of most versions of this film. The scenes that got cut out involve Dr. Fuji's dark plot. He was trying to bring his deceased daughter Amber back to life. Amber eventually got cloned and became Mewtwo's best friend, but she died. These scenes are some of the most well made scenes of all time. It's weird that 2 characters that barley have screen time (Dr....

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows is a 2016 action film. It's the sequel to the 2014 Turtles film. I was eager to watch this film, because it's the first turtles film to have Krang, but is this film good?

The Plot:

It's up to the 4 turtles along with April and Casey to stop Krang from taking over the world. Well there's more going on than that. Some of the side plots include: the turtles not getting along with each other and Casey trying to prove he can be a quality detective. Plus there's Krang's helpers.

The Krang storyline is cool despite the film focusing too much on Krang's...

Fifty Shades Darker may have also dropped the same day, but JWC2 is the more erotic of the two.

NO SPOILERS!!!

Daddy Keanu is back again to play my multi-dimensional baby John Wick! I've never squealed so hard for a sequel in my life.

First off, if you haven't seen the first John Wick, I strongly urge you to immediately because my review will mean nothing to you. When I first watched John Wick, I was blown away. One of the most pure action movies of the past decade, it was an extreme roller coaster ride of emotions from the very beginning. You cared about this man because he just lost his wife, then some thug steals his car and *gasp!* KILLS HIS DOG (which btw was the last gift his wife...

Some films have memorable quotes that I always look forward to listening to. The following list honors the five film quotes that I love the most.

5. "Survival of the Fittest Leonard!" - Foodfight!

Said by: Mr. Clipboard

Although Foodfight! isn't a very good film I love Mr. Clipboard. He was delightfully eccentric. I love this quote, because of how amazingly odd Christopher Lloyd said it.

4. "You're mad, bonkers, but all the best people are." - the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film

Said by: Alice's dad, Alice

This quote is pretty much perfect for Alice in Wonderland. I love how it starts off seeming...

Films vary in quality. It's hard to make films that are masterpieces. Films require so many things to make them good. I think that these are the top 5 things that films should have.

5. Interesting Visuals

Films that look bad can ruin good films. Also if a film looks decent, but nothing special the film can become forgettable. Several live action that I like aren't so much fun to re-watch, because they're not visually unique. Although visuals can't make eh or bad films good they can make good films better.

Examples of Films That Have Interesting Visuals: Studio Ghibli films, Johnny Depp's Alice...

Since I did a Horror Movie favorite list I thought I'd do one for movies that weren't of the Horror genre. So, this will be a list of 20 movies that are my favorite that don't include Horror.

1. Clueless 1995 PG-13 Starring Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy

For those of you who know don’t know who he is, Roddy McDowall was an English-American actor, film director, and voice artist, best known for playing Cornelius on ‘Planet of the Apes’. I actually used to like him and really enjoyed his roles in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ series. However, then I grew up and learned what a scumbag he was. If for some reason, you are a fan of him then stop reading right now because there is nothing here for you.
Still with me? Okay then, don’t say I didn’t warn you. First of all, Roddy McDowall spent a lot of time with his good buddy Elizabeth Taylor....

I'm not a big fan of the decision to use CGI here but the movie overall does look intense. And I love shark thrillers.
