5 Reasons to Check Out the Teen Titans Go! Film

There's a Teen Titans Go! film coming out called Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. A lot of people are dreading the film, but I think that tons of people should check out the film.

1. The Teen Titans will finally be on the big screen.

There have been some Teen Titans films. However those films were direct to DVD, not theatrical. Robin has been on the big screen various times and Cyborg was in the Justice League film, but this is Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy's first theatrical film.

2. Slade will be the villain.

Slade is the Teen Titans' main villain and a recurring antagonist to Batman. He's become one of DC's greatest villains so having him be the main villain of a theatrical film is awesome!

3. Nicolas Cage is voicing Superman.

Nicolas Cage tried to play Superman in a film, but the film got cancelled. Thankfully Mr. Cage will finally get to play Superman. Nicolas Cage as Superman is a very creative casting choice so I'm excited to hear his version of Superman.

4. The film has lots of creative humor.

Teen Titans Go! gets mocked too hard. It's one of the most enjoyable shows ever made. The film's trailers have several great jokes including jokes about Alfred getting his own film, pointing out how Deadpool is a ripoff of Slade, and making fun of Aquaman.

5. It's one of the few times that a film based on a Cartoon Network show is getting a theatrical release.

Cartoon Network tried to have a big theatrical film by releasing The Powerpuff Girls Movie. Sadly the film didn't do that well which is likely the reason other Cartoon Network theatrical films weren't made. I'm hoping that this attempt at a big theatrical film based on a Cartoon Network show works out.

The Teen Titans Go! film looks like tons of film. I hope that you check it out.

KataraLover I'll be perfectly honest with my opinions on these points of yours: 1. The fact that this is the Teen Titans first time on the big screen makes it more infuriating for me. I absolutely DESPISE Teen Titans Go and consider it one of the worst shows ever, even when I put aside that it's a follow up to one of my all-time favorite shows. The drawing style is absolutely embarrassing, the animation hasn't even improved over the animation in the TV show, it's just going to be more ridiculous acid trips that make fans of the original Teen Titans rage, and just looks like a mess. There were SO MANY better ways to give the Teen Titans a theatrical movie debut and this is the worst possible way for them to have done it. The characters personalities were ruined and were pretty much unrecognizable, the stories are always silly to the point they seem like they were written by someone who was high off their ass, the animation sucks, and everything just feels like an acid trip. The Teen Titans deserve better than this! If I had kids and they wanted to see this movie, I'd say HELL NO and would not allow them to watch Teen Titans Go in general. I'd just have them watch the original show or the other animated movies of Teen Titans that are much more deserving of a theatrical release, such as Justice League vs Teen Titans. 2. Okay, Slade is a pretty cool villain, though overrated, but he's not going to be enough to save this movie. Hell, they probably ruined him too and I'm just lucky enough not to have seen any episodes that have him in them. Besides, in my personal opinion, there are much better and more interesting villains in Teen Titans, particularly Jinx and Blackfire. 3. Uhhhh.... I'm not sure how to respond to this news. Honestly, Nicholas Cage is one of those actors that is either good or terrible in a role. There's no in-between! He did good in The Croods as a Caveman but he is just not the right choice to play someone like Superman because of how goofy Nicholas Cage's acting is. He's a notorious HAM and that's not exactly what I'd call good credentials for the role of being the voice of Superman, one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. 4. As you have probably already guessed, I think the humor of Teen Titans Go is absolutely HORRENDOUS! It's just joke after joke (Each joke being bad) with no real quality or substance, and no real serious moments or action scenes to balance it out like the Teen Titans is supposed to. Even when there is supposed to be serious moments or actions scenes it's not done well and is just more goofiness that has no real substance. Teen Titans Go is just a terrible acid trip and one of the worst shows I've ever seen. It's a shame because the original show was like the Cartoon Network equivalent of Avatar: The Last Airbender, though not nearly as good. It was amazing at balancing humor (Quality humor), serious moments, and action scenes without making any of these be overkill. Plus the characters were so likable, which makes me angry how they were made to be such exaggerated versions of their original selves to the point where they aren't even the same characters. It feels more like something an immature five-year-old would come up with when playing with their Teen Titans action figures, except that this five-year-old would be high off his or her ass. No offense, but I really HATE Teen Titans Go, even when I put aside how much it butchered a show I love so much and was so unfaithful to it. 5. That's nice but not enough for me to go and see it. I still have standards and while The Powerpuff Girls Movie didn't do well, it's beloved by audiences and was faithful to its source material, unlike the new Powerpuff Girls show or Teen Titans Go to the original show. It's a quality over quantity thing. I hope you're not offended. This is just my honest opinion and I definitely have no intention on seeing this movie.
