lol... after a night at a club Clary uncovers a new world that her mother had hid from her ever since she was born. And on the same night Valentine attacks her apartment and she meets a group of other Shadowhunters (Jace, Alec and Isabelle). They go through an adventure full of twist and turns and Jace and Clary ending up falling for each other but they find out that they are brother and sister (later found out it is not true). So they try to take down Valentine and awaken Clary's mother from a coma and such. This is a basically what it about.
