As a huge delena fan, I really got annoyed and HURT that lg Smith suddenly decided to make Bamon into a thing and even possibly end them together, which is ridiculous to me, and now let me tell you why, it’s absurd that she can even be his love interest. Damon and Elena are the endgame of the vampire diaries.
Throughout the whole series, for me , it was the story about Elena and Damon, I mean , it’s obvious. Every book there are hints that painfully show that delena are endgame, some of them are literally saying that they are twin flames, I’m pretty sure Lisa doesn’t even know what twin flames is , because twin flames are to souls that look for each other each life time, they are DESTINED to be together, they are fated love. twin flames their connection can be ONLY romantic, while soulmates isn’t, you can be soul mate with your dog, with your best friend. Let’s not forget that In shadow souls , the motel scene says that, they are also soul mates, later in the book it also says that they are twin flames, even though it was obvious from the first book.

Damon is so lost and need some light in his life- which some Bamon fans say that Elena couldn’t bring it to him since he wants her as his princess of darkness, and only Bonnie can give it to him,
Which makes me actually laugh out loud,
Because Bamon fans keep ignoring the books, they just care about the books after midnight, they don’t give a crap about the original books. Another reason is that , DAMON LITERALLY SAID THAT ELENA WOULD LIGHT UP HIS DARKNESS,
He said it so many time, in nightfall, the struggle, and more.

I admit that he WAS obsessed with her, but he stopped being obsessed with her after the 2-3 books, and it was pure love , and he loved her also from first sight.

Smith made Bamon into a thing, first of all, it’s obvious that she was a delena fan, and let’s face it, it’s been 20+ years since she wrote the books, I’m pretty sure that she lost any interest in the original intention of the book, i mean the books are about stefan Elena and Damon, then why the hell Bonnie now become kind of a main character is the fanfiction series? , and stefan disappears?, lmao.
I think she ended it up as delena in her head long time ago and now she just wants to play with the books, which Is totally unfair , she also lied to delena fans and Bamon fans , and pretty sure it’s because a lot of people lost interest in the books and she’s trying to get more readers, so she lies to delena fans, because it’s the biggest fan base. And I mean I kinda understand why she does that , even though I don’t agree with it, think about it , people literally took the vampire diaries rights from her, I would lost any desire to write them if I was her too . But she did played with both of the fan bases.
And something is really annoying me , why the hell cant she write a proper delena ending?!?! She just keeps and keeps to write the books , and honestly they’re not good anymore. Really don’t.
