Miley Cyrus has been confirmed to share stage with Taylor Swift at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 8. The two teen singers will be delivering "Fifteen", the song off Taylor's second studio LP "Fearless".
Noting they want to do something different, Taylor told Ryan Seacrest during his radio show on Tuesday morning, February 3 that they're thrilled and look forward to the event. She said, "We were trying to figure out different things that would be cool. We all kind of agreed, 'Wouldn't it be cool if Miley was up there too and we're singing together?' And we're excited about it."
Commenting on the song choice, Miley stated "the lyrics are very inspiring." She then added, "A lot of girls are inspired by us, so this song is us giving our advice. ... This song is pretty perfect for the Grammys."
Taylor meanwhile shared on what the single is dealing with. She explained, "Well, it's a song I wrote about freshman year of high school. It was the last year of my life I thought I knew everything. I had my first boyfriend when I was 15. I'm glad I was able to put it into words."
In addition to Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift's duet, this year's Grammy Awards will also have other collaborations between Adele and Kanye West as well as Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo. It will take place at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS at 08:00 P.M. (ET/PT). Other performers during the show include Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry and many more.

George Sampson says he’s got a soft spot for teen star Miley Cyrus.
And the Britain’s Got Talent winner reckons he’d impress her with his break dancing moves.
‘I’ve got a secret crush on Miley Cyrus,’ he says.
‘I’d love to do a dance-off with her. Can you put a good word in?’
But it looks like George will have to fight off 14-year-old EastEnders star Madeline Duggan first.
‘George is so fit. I want to give him my number but I don’t know if he watches EastEnders and will know who I am,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.
‘My dad probably won’t let me date him but who cares? I’m gonna ask my press office to speak to his and swap phone numbers.’
Madeline plays Lauren Branning in the BBC soap.
