London (ANI): ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus has got a new chart rival, and it is none other than her older sister Brandi, who has joined a pop group.
Brandi Cyrus, 22, had previously played guitar as back up for Miley, but she is now ready to make her own mark with her band Frank and Derol, alongside lead vocalist Codi Caraco and Megan Park.
“We really liked what she contributed so we started working with her a lot more and it all naturally fell into place,” the Daily Express quoted Park as saying of Cyrus’ addition to their band.
The trio was also given a big career boost after they opened for Billy Ray Cyrus at his concert in Los Angeles’ House of Blues on June 14.
