Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was named favorite TV actress and favorite female singer at Nickelodeon's 2008 Kids' Choice Awards. Cyrus was also named favorite TV actress in 2007. In the music categories, the Jonas Brothers were named favorite music group and Chris Brown favorite male singer, while Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" won as favorite song. Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh came out on top as favorite TV show, and Drake Bell, one of the stars of the series, was named favorite TV actor. Other winners included Jessica Alba, Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Tony Hawk and Danica Patrick. Hosted by Jack Black, the awards show took place Saturday (March 29) in Los Angeles at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. The fan-voted awards resulted in almost 87 million votes in 18 categories.
