The Rangers tried everything they had to defeat Pirantishead, but he was too strong and powerful.Pirantishead goes and destroy the Dinozords staring with the Tyrannosaurus.
Pirantishead froze the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord and smashed it to pieces, ejecting Jason the Red Ranger and making him loose his powers. Then Pirantishead goes and tossed the Saber-Toothed Tiger Dinozord into a mountain, ejecting Trini the Yellow Ranger and making her loose her powers.
Then Pirantishead grabbed the Triceratops Dinozord and shoved it into the ground, ejecting Billy the Blue Ranger and making him loose his powers.Then Pirantishead destroys the Pterodactyl and Mastodon Dinozord and the Dragonzord as well by creating an earthquake sending the three Zord back into the Earth.
Kimberly the Pink Ranger and Zack the Black Ranger both lost their powers, Tommy the Green Ranger already had his powers taken away by Rita Repulsa.
Alpha 5 found the powerless teenagers laying on the ground and took them back to the Command Center.

Alpha 5 found the destroyed Power Coins and melted them down to make new coins with power drawn from five mythological creatures.

But the Rangers' troubles were only just beginning Lord Zedd created more powerful Putties called Z-Putties.
The Rangers' morphing call went like this "Lion, Firebird, Unicorn, Griffin, Red Dragon".

Alpha 5 knew they needed a sixth Ranger, so Alpha 5 and Zordon created a new Ranger out of white light nobody knew who this White Ranger was.
The White Ranger had his own Zord, the Tigerzord which combine with the Thunderzords to form Mega Tigerzord and he has a talking sword named Saba.
The Rangers' soon found out who was the White Ranger and he was no other than the former Green Ranger, Tommy Oliver.

Jason, Trini, and Zack decided to retire from their Power Ranger duties and Alpha 5 and Zordon had to find replacements for the departed Rangers.
It wasn't long before Alpha 5 and Zordon found three new Rangers and introduced them to Billy, Kimberly, and Tommy.
Their names were Adam the Green Ranger, Rocky the Red Ranger, and Aisha the Yellow Ranger.

Meanwhile on the Moon, Lord Zedd was busy creating new and even more powerful monsters and he revealed his own Zord, a green dragon-like zord named Serpentera. The Ranger needed another Zord to fight the more powerful monsters as well as Serpentera.
Alpha 5 found a mysterious green gem that was glowing near where Titanus the Carrierzord remained dormant and the gem transformed Titnaus into a turtle-like Zord and Alpha 5 said "I should name you Tor the Shuttlezord".
Tor can combine with the Thunderzord and the Tigerzord to form the Thunder Ultrazord.

Then a mysterious egg was found at a construction site and Lord Zedd and Rita Repaulsa cracked the egg, but only to find glowing purple ooze.
The ooze form a new villan, Ivan Ooze and when he saw the Rangers he sent out his Ooze Men to attack them.
Ivan Ooze has two Zords of his own, a hornet-like Zord named Horntor and scorpion-like Zord named Scorpitor.
The Rangers tried all thier power aganst Ivan Ooze, but Ivan Ooze goes off and destroys the Thunderzord making the Rangers loose thier thunder powers.
