Michael Sheen Question

Do you think it is right to cast Michael Sheen as Aro in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

Do you think this is really the best way Hollywood should see our favorite actor?

I don't know about your opinion guys but I really think that Michael deservs something more than playing in a teenage vampire love story.Don't get me wrong I have nothing against The Twilight saga I even like the movie(not love but like), but I think that is not the right way for Michael to be introduced to Hollywood. And if he really wants to win an Oscar(and I think he deserves it) I think that is not the way!

A character is only as good as the actor who portrays it, and I think Michael portrays all his characters extremely well.

I completely understand how u are feeling about this;).....when I found out I was soo happy for him-and that I was going to see him in new movie! then I started to really really think about it-and that put me right there with you girl:) lol...I really did want Sheen to get an Oscar for his performance in Frost/Nixon...which did not happen:(....and you know, when one (actor)is a Lycan Leader in a great movie and then one goes to an evil insane head Vampire in a okay movie.....things will be said and a few of his fans might be lost....BUT-you and I know that Micheal Sheen will be freaking amazing as an evil vamp...and no spoilers please only read 1&2 book...lol..I mean He wouldnt be himself if he was absolutely phenomenal as an actor and as a performer:D...am I completely happy he is in the Twilight Saga movies?...not really-no, but I am glad that I will have reason to laugh until my ribs hurt..with Micheal Sheen as Aro-and dont think you wont be laughing out of chair-at moments...lol....and yes he does deserve a better role or a more epic role...but if that was what Micheal Sheen wanted to do-I think he would be playing that role instead..but he isnt, and he really does know what he's doing..and at the moment that's playing a vampire...lol-in Twilight. and no matter how mind-boggling that is..I think we will just have to go and see it and decide for ourselves...but-yah,of course,he will always the Lucian leader of the Lycan's first and foremost:)..at least for me......

Now, I'm far from a huge Twilight fan. I really am, but while reading the seires, I did fall in love with all of the Volturi characters basically becuase they were everything Vampires were sopost to be. They were scary and threating and Aro was the soul deadliest with such a chaotic state of mind. He was, in my opnion the most complex and best written character in the whole book, but what makes me mad is how pushed aside he and the rest of the Volturi are, they need more recognition and the books themselves probably would have had an older and more safisticated fanbase if they would have made older and more powerful vampires like the Volturi better known.

In my opnion, for someone as complex as Aro, I think Michael was an amazing choice, there's nothing this man can't do when it comes to acting and he did right by Aro. I really wish he had his own story, but it's a shame we only see a character this well written about only twice. Once in New Moon and again in Breaking Dawn. I think Michael was an excellent choice for the part he was given. He brought one of my favorite character's to life making him even more interesting then he had been before. I just love the guy...well, both Aro and Michael...lol.

He was amazing as Aro. He had that creepy voice down packed and he showed the manipulative side of his character. He also showed that he is in control of the society and crazy enough to "collect" individuals that will bring him even more power.
