Asad took out a box and opened it "Will you marry me?" He asked as I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I couldn't except it so I said what he prayed wouldn't be said "No. I'm sorry Asad but I have to think things through. This is moving too fast." Asad's smile turned into a furious look as he grabbed me by my arm "I don't take no for an answer. Gimme your hand!" He forced the ring on my finger as I tried to snatch my hand away. Asad slapped me as I looked at him like he was crazy "Boy YOU must be Godamn crazy!" I kicked him in his batteries and punched as he fell "Come'on now. If you quick enough to slap a bitch. I grabbed him by his hair and dragged him into the trunk of his truck "You gone learn not to put yo hands on me again. You bastard." I took his truck keys and we drove home.

I was tricked by thinking Asad was a sweet man but my ass was fooled. That's probably why his last one got away with the delivery man. She was fooled by him and when she finally saw the real him...out she went. I drove home and dragged Asad out the trunk "Don't ever mess wit a woman from the projects." I said as I punched and kicked his face and body then dragged him into the house and threw him on the floor, I squatted down while I lifted his head up by his hair and whispered "Now go and get your shit and leave. NOW!" Asad ran to action as I found a seat and a drink and watched him run out with his stuff "Oh. And in case you get lonely" I said as I took off the ring and my panties "just smell those drawes and put on the ring." He cried and walked out while I smoked a cigarette and drunk some wine. I called Michael as he gasped at all I told him "What's wrong with you?" Michael asked as I chuckled "Nothing much just the fact that if a man touch me. They funeral coming." I insisted.

"Sure, I do need some company." I said while taking off my clothes and putting on some sweatpants and a sports bra.

I put on a shirt and slouched in the chair as I played Prince's 'Joy in Repetition' and cleaned up. A knock approached my door "Who is it?" I asked as a voice answered "Michael." I opened the door then Michael and his girl walked in. I greeted as we all talked "Well, me and Lisa met at a party and in an twinkle of an eye. We got along so well." He said as Lisa kissed him while Michael kissed her back while I sat there feeling like the third wheel "An twinkle of an eye, huh?" I asked while looking at the floor, feeling lonely.
